Regarding Our 2020 Season Opening:
Governor Carney has placed a travel restriction on anyone coming into Delaware from other states effective this morning at 8:00am. Anyone coming into Delaware from another state must quarantine for 14 days from the time they enter the state or for the duration of the individual’s presence in Delaware, whichever is shorter.
We would like to maintain the stance that if the particular state in which you live has mandated a “Shelter in Place” order, then we ask you to please shelter in place at your residence, in your state. If you enter Delaware, then you must quarantine yourself on your site for 14 days or until you return directly home, whichever is shorter.
Golf cart permits would be suspended. Visiting anywhere with others, traveling to other sites or congregating in any area of the park will remain prohibited until your quarantine has lifted or you leave to return directly home.
All public areas of the resort are closed until further notice.
This includes the Playground, the Pier, the Dog-park and Mini-golf. The Bathhouse will remain closed until such time as the State of Delaware Department of Health can do a final inspection, which has been delayed. Laundry facilities will remain closed.
If you are a Delaware resident, and wish to visit your site, please heed all social distancing guidelines. Stay at least 6 ft. away from others. Do not enter another resident’s site without being invited. No more than 10 people may congregate in an area or on a site at one time, unless you are all members of the same family. Employ Social Distancing at all times. You must especially abide while bicycling, taking walks and driving golf carts.
We appreciate your cooperation & understanding. If we do not heed Social Distancing guidelines and choose to behave normally, if we decide to run around instead of stay at home, May 15th could find us still unable to open as we should. Let’s all do our part to combat this pandemic now so that we can go on to have an enjoyable summer.
Seasonal Rent remains due as usual. As of this notice, campgrounds in Delaware may remain open. Those who can visit must remain on site and maintain proper Social Distancing. There will be no pro-ration for individual time lost.

March 24, 2020
As of today, Governor John Carney is allowing Campgrounds & RV Parks to remain open in Delaware. This is subject to change at any time. If it does, we will update you as soon as possible.
After speaking with Delaware’s Department of Health and Social Services, these are our decisions to date:
Lighthouse Beach RV Resort will open, as scheduled, on April 1, 2020. Seasonal Residents, and those with existing reservations, are welcome to enter the resort. We have suspended taking any new RV Site or Cottage reservations until May 16th.
Transient campers who currently hold existing overnight RV Site reservations with arrival dates prior to May 16th (of which, there are six) are permitted to check-in, as arranged, unless the Governor forces a shut down. Should that occur, credits for a future stay or a full refund will be issued.
Seasonal Residents coming from an area where the order has been given to shelter in place are asked to PLEASE heed your local law.
If you are being tested for a possible Coronavirus infection, PLEASE remain quarantined at home.
If you are ill, PLEASE stay at home. People with compromised immune systems, or a chronic disorder should follow their doctor’s advice.
If you do decide to come down, then we ask that you PLEASE use common sense and respect others by adhering to safe Social Distancing practices, i.e.: maintain a minimum six-foot distance between you and anyone else. Do NOT enter your neighbors’ sites without being invited. There should be no more than 10 people gathering in any one area or site at a time.
The Bathhouse and Laundry facilities will be open, however, PLEASE do not crowd each other in these areas. Always wash your hands and dispose of trash in the cans provided. These areas will be cleaned and disinfected several times a day, as needed. Try to use the bathrooms in your RV as much as possible.
All group activities have been suspended until the State of Emergency is lifted and offices will remain closed to the public during this time, as well. Please call or email us with any questions or concerns, for maintenance issues, to make credit card payments, etc. Checks and any necessary paperwork may be deposited in the drop box located at the Office's front door.
Camping can provide an excellent relief from the stress this pandemic is causing each of us. So, PLEASE, play it smart: maintain your distance, sanitize and wash often and repeatedly, cough and sneeze into your elbows, etc.
If you do not feel safe entering the campground, or if you feel you are a threat to the safety of others, then, by all means, PLEASE remain at home.
Thank you in advance for adhering to these practices.

Hopefully the mix of people coming from areas with heavy cases of covid19 such as New york, New Jersey etc.. will not spread this virus in the De. area and surrounding states with relatively low numbers of cases. Given the attitude of many people about this virus even though they are told to stay in place in those states many will not follow that rule:( Imo this will spread the virus because given the chance to ride this storm out in a place that has widespread outbreak or their rv in DE most will decide to come to DE:(
